Orange honey is one of the most appreciated, creamy and spreadable. It has a very light color, which tends to white at the time of crystallization, and a fruity aroma, with a note reminiscent of zagara flowers. From the point of view of therapeutic properties, orange honey has a calming and relaxing power. For its delicate taste, although aromatic, it is indicated to sweeten and flavor both sweet and savory dishes.
Crystallization affects almost all varieties of honey, except chestnut and acacia varieties that tend to remain liquid due to their composition. It is a natural and inevitable process for the maintenance of enzymes and vitamins and that demonstrates the absolute quality of the product. Crystallized honeys can be easily softened in a bain-marie.
